As chief executive officer of Brick Mountain Billing, Inc., Kris Partin oversees the billing and follow-up of patient accounts and revenue cycle management for all of Brick Mountain’s facilities.
Prior to becoming the chief executive officer of Brick Mountain Billing, Inc., Partin served as the director of financial services for Knox County Hospital, a 25 bed critical access facility that generates over $15 million in net patient revenues. In that role, Partin oversaw departmental operations for patient registration/accounting, health information management, materials management, accounts payable, and information systems and technology.
Prior to that, Partin served in various roles of increasing responsibility at Knox County Hospital. Partin served as the director of communications and technology from 2002-2007, the risk manager and performance improvement coordinator from 2001-2003 and the administrative officer from 1991 to 2000. During this tenure, she managed and supported the hospital and its affiliates information systems; ensured compliance with regulatory agencies; planned, organized, implemented and monitored the facility’s risk management program to control and minimize professional liability claims; and corporate compliance policy formulation.
Partin will receive her bachelor of science in business administration from Union College in Barbourville, Kentucky in December 2008. |
