Brick Mountain Billing, Inc. (BMB) was founded by healthcare executives who have a unique knowledge of the importance of cash flow in healthcare facilities and the effects of revenue cycle management. BMB discovered that most billing companies are ineffective because they do not correct underlying billing issues that create denied claims and hold up cash flow. BMB was founded on the principle that billing success requires focusing on the entire revenue cycle. Through a focused approach, BMB has been successful at increasing monthly cash collections at numerous healthcare facilities.

BMB focuses on the entire revenue cycle beginning with registration and ending with billing.

BMB managers meet with you on a quarterly basis to review the state of your accounts receivable. Monthly practice management summary reports include:

  • Accounts Receivable Days
  • Accounts Receivable Aging Spread (with and without self-pay)
  • Gross Collection Ratio (based on 6 and 12 month averages)
  • Net Collection Ratio (based on 6 and 12 month averages)
  • Payer Mix as a Percentage of Charges
  • Outstanding Claims by Payer
  • Denial Listing
